Every year, the day after Christmas I like to go out and spend $$ on clearance gift wrap. In the past, I have spent HUNDREDS at Target, World Market and Michaels. This year I went solo to Target and scooped up some good finds.

The Urban Decay Gods have Blessed Me!

Crazy story.

Anna bought me the new Urban Decay Full Spectrum palette. When we got a knock on the door, 2 identical boxes were outside. Inside each box what an identical order, with identical order numbers. Doing the right thing, I called Urban Decay's customer service line. A very nice girl named Ashley told me I could keep and enjoy both palettes as it was their mistake.

Karma.

So I have decided to give that other palette away. Giveaway is open till Nov 24, which is USA Thanksgiving Day. I am thankful for all of the people who take the time to watch my videos. Therefore, I am giving back to the community.

Benefit Giveaway

I was fortunate enough to to get a bunch of freebies when I bought some Benefit products at Ulta. As a result, I ended up holding a giveaway on my channel. Good things come to those who wait.

Dolly Darling: Benefit Cosmetics

I went to Ulta the other day in search of my "ride or die" face primer. As I was headed to the register, I noticed this GIANT face staring at me. This is the Dolly Darling gift set from Ulta. For $8 more, I scored so much more than just a full size porefessional.

FOTD: Gwen Stefani basic

This morning I thought I would switch it up and use my Urban Decay Gwen Stefani palette. I think this palette often times gets looked over, because there are bolder, more sparkly palettes that exist. In my world, it keep it in a drawer and just forget I have it...much like most of my makeup.

Since I am getting over an allergic reaction on my eyelids, I have been trying to keep it simple, basic, and not glitter! So this palette has some good matte options in it. I used the color "zone" in my crease. Then I took mac "painterly" paint pot and smeared that using my finger on just my eyelid. I then took "baby" and packed it on my lid. Under my eyebrows as a highlight, I used mac "vanilla" pigment. I used Urban Decay 24/7 liner in "zero" on my lower lash line and tarte Tarteist clay paint liner on my upper lash line and wing. Finished off with Maybelline The Rocket mascara.

So far I find that I am loving this look. It has stayed on all day, but I have been sedentary and it hasn't really been put to much of a test.

How my love of fashion started...and continues today!

Since I was little, I have always been obsessed with fashion. Even though I do not have a career in the industry, I love clothing and accessories and shoes. There is nothing more that I love about fashion than looking at fashion magazines and watching movies and tv shows that feature the best new looks.
